Who I am. Off Peak Dog Training is run by Adam Jaques, a sole trader in Newcastle upon Tyne. I'm responsible for your personal data. Contact me at adam@offpeakdogtraining.co.uk or 07727 107971.

What I collect. Your name, email address, phone number, your dog's name and details, and anything you tell me about you and your dog. For clients, also your session dates, payment records, your signed agreement, and photos or videos from sessions.

Why I use it, and the legal basis.

To reply to your enquiry, hold your call and deliver your training. Legal basis: taking steps to enter into, or carry out, a contract with you.
To send you the free guide and training emails you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
To follow up after a call or enquiry. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in responding to people who've asked about my services.
To keep business and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
To share session photos or videos. Only with your permission, as set out in your client agreement.

Who I share it with. Only the services I use to run the business: Google (email, calendar and video calls), Sender (email newsletters), Netlify (website and forms), WhatsApp (messages) and my bank. Some of these may store data outside the UK, with safeguards in place. I never sell your data.

How long I keep it. Enquiries and email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, or 2 years after we last spoke. Clients: 6 years after the programme ends, for tax and insurance records.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how I use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Just email me. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
